This is a final update on the project the IETF Trust begin in late 2020 to develop and publish clarifying language on the use of the IANA Parameter Registry Data.
The project included a consultation on the TLP-Interest mailing list with the IETF Community which showed that the community was overall supportive of the proposal.
The IETF Trust with ICANN and IANA have now published a joint statement with the clarification on the IANA site at: https://www.iana.org/help/licensing-terms.
