IETF Trust Call, 11:00 am EST, Thursday, 8 April 2010 Participants: Lynn St. Amour [PRESENT] Eric Burger [PRESENT] Marshall Eubanks [PRESENT, Chair] Bob Hinden [PRESENT] Russ Housley [PRESENT] Ole Jacobsen [NOT PRESENT] Olaf Kolkman [PRESENT] Ray Pelletier [PRESENT, IAD] Henk Uijterwaal [NOT PRESENT] Karen O'Donoghue [SCRIBE] The IETF Trust meeting was called to order 11:02 am. There was one agenda item for the meeting. 1. RFC Editor Archives Marshall Eubanks asked for guidance from the IETF Trust on what should be done with the RFC Editor archives currently stored at ISI. The Computer History Museum has expressed some interest in the materials. They would be happy to take the material and preserve it. Lynn St. Amour indicated that the first point of order is to address the question "what do we think should become of the material?" We do not want it thrown out. The right approach is to talk to ISI and sort through the material. There is a great deal of value and interest in these materials as they underlie much of the Internet's development. Ray will draft a letter to send to ISI with the offer to help sort through the materials. Additional logistics regarding the archives can be addressed at a later time. The meeting was adjourned at 11:10 am.
